| Panel #3 - Adam and Eve: The male and
female are taken from the Masaccio fresco "The Expulsion
of Adam and Eve from Paradise", created for the Brancacci
Chapel, Florence, 1420. The cliff dwelling shown is based on
a Kayenta Anasazi ruin from this early Southwestern culture.
The Anasazi culture developed large masonry cliff dwellings
from around 1100 until the arrival of the Spanish in 1598. |
